Tabby Tab to URL Link

The Tabby Tab to URL Link add-on should not be confused with the similarly named link to tab add-on. Each of these add-ons has a very different purpose and usage.

Tabby Tab to URL Link enables tabs to be specified in a tabby responsive tabs tabgroup which act as a link to any URL.

This add-on provides an additional [tabbyurl] shortcode which can be included in any tabgroup made with tabby responsive tabs instead of a [tabby] shortcode, however the first shortcode in the tabgroup must always be a [tabby] shortcode.

The [tabbyurl] shortcode has a couple of optional shortcode parameters which enable the Tab to URL Link tabs to be created which

• Include an icon to the right to indicate the link goes to an external site
• Specify that the tab’s link should open in a new browser tab

1. Normal Tab (tabbyurl cannot be used in place of the first tab)
2. Link to this site’s homepage
3. Link to an external URL with an icon to indicate an external link
4. Link to an external URL opening in a new browser tab
